Nigeria's No 1 Mobile Internet Specialist

Warmest Greetings!

I've got good news for you. For years, we've been subjected to the tyranny of insolent cybercafe operators in various cities across this country. They charged ridiculous rates per hour yet delivered snail speed browsing.

Worst of all, your sensitive data weren't completely secure with some of them. I went to a cybercafe to browse one day and after about ten minutes, PHCN struck as usual. Not having reliable UPS, all the systems went off. After the generator was switched on, the systems had to go through a reboot.

Imagine my surprise when I noticed a program called "keyboard collector" flash briefly on the screen of the PC I was browsing on. Though I didn't know what a keyboard collector was at that time, I knew the meaning of the word 'collector'.

I immediately checked keyboard collector on Google and to my greatest surprise, I found out that it is a program designed to record all the keystrokes on a computer keyboard and then replay them to the owner of the computer at their own convenient time.

To make matters worse, this program runs hidden in the background. If you bring up your task manager, you wont see it there. Neither will you see it in add/remove programs in the computer's control panel.

Obviously, it would be wrong to accuse the writers of this software of unethical programming as there may be legitimate uses for this software. The blame should be laid squarely on the shoulders of some cybercafe operators, some of whom are actually fraudsters using cybercafe business as a front for their nefarious activities.

Has Your Email Been hacked?

Yahoo Yahoo boys also download these software for use in stealing sensitive information from unsuspecting fellow cafe users. Usually, they use it to steal email passwords of fellow cafe users. This is lent credence by the fact that what I saw in the computer was a trial version of keyboard collector. A Yahoo boy will never cough out money to buy the code for the full version.

You can see how dangerous it is to patronize some of these cafes!

However, there is good news as I announced earlier. You can now browse cheaply in your own home, big thanks to our GSM service providers. If you have a laptop or desktop, you can browse right in your own house at high speed if 3.5G coverage has reached your area.

But even if what you have is just GPRS/EDGE, the speed is so good that I listen to 32 bit rate Internet radio stations from over the world!

Packages available are as follows:

1. One full day browsing [24hrs] for N500.

2. One month night browsing [30days] for N2500.

3. One month round-the-clock browsing for N10 000.

All the packages are fast and highly reliable.

Compare this to the N100/hour to N150/hour some cafes charge. Some of these cafes claim the use of so-called foreign IPs as justification for the stiff cost.

But that is nonsense!

Having a foreign IP does not cost a dime these days if you know what you're doing.

Sorry, using foreign IPs become necessary where some websites unjustly ban
your IP because of the criminal few among us.

Now, back to what I was saying. If you have a PC or Laptop, then get ready to configure it for cheap Internet access all by yourself.

Yes, you heard me right!

You can do it by yourself. Best of all you can make money doing it for others or teaching others to do it.

Are you living in a rural or remote location?

Another big benefit is that it doesn't matter if you live in the remotest village in Nigeria. I come from a very remote village in Enugu, and believe me, this village is remote. I traveled home recently from Lagos where I live. I took my laptop along but I never knew GPRS/EDGE would be available in my village.

Yes, network signals have been available in my village for over three years, just that I didn't know GPRS/EDGE was included. I was greatly pleased that I could check email and read news online right in my village!

I could hardly contain my excitement when I discovered that the days of browsing at the rate of N150/hour in cybercafes was over.

I couldn't keep this to myself as I knew we need total access to the Internet to develop this country rapidly. I immediately embarked on the task of writing a very comprehensive, fully photo-illustrated ebook showing you step-by-easy-step how to configure your laptop or desktop for cheap Internet access no matter where you are in Nigeria.
